The build-in CLII-CO2 room sensor is used for continuous monitoring of indoor air quality in buildings and for subsequent effective control of ventilation system performance based on carbon dioxide concentration. The sensor is used in all spaces where the predominant source of indoor air pollution is the people who spend time there. Why?

Because carbon dioxide is a very good indicator of how stale the air is in a given space. It must be said that carbon dioxide itself is not harmful to health in low concentrations. However, as the space is breathed out, not only does the concentration of CO2 increase, but so does the concentration of other pollutants (known as volatile organic compounds -VOCs), which are the main cause of the unpleasant sensations associated with stale air.
